Qashabia

Challenge
Dubai's production industry is crowded, and most agencies compete on the same visual language — sleek, generic, interchangeable. Qashabia's founder brought something the market didn't: years of experience working with major international companies. The brand needed to carry that weight from day one, reading as established and trusted in a market where trust is everything, without a single project yet on the wall.

Strategy
We found the answer in the name itself. A qashabia is a hand-tailored North African garment — a symbol of Algerian menswear, made to measure, and prized for the knowledge and craftsmanship it takes to get right. That same relationship between skill, patience and precision is what separates good film production from average. The identity is built around a lettermark that fuses the Latin Q with the Arabic ق, a subtle nod to the founder's Algerian roots and international outlook, carried through a palette of the warm browns, beiges and oranges the garment is traditionally woven in. Even the behind-the-scenes photography reinforces the idea, treating a film set with the same reverence as a tailor's workshop — craftsmanship in both frames.

Outcome
Qashabia launched in Dubai with a complete visual identity — a distinct lettermark, a palette rooted in heritage, and a system built to read as professional and B2B-relevant from the first pitch. A brand that tells the founder's story without ever having to say it out loud.
